Roachdale, July 13 – Mrs. Vina Bridges, wife of John L. Bridges of Fincastle died at 7 o’clock Thursday morning. She had been seriously sick five or six weeks and had been in poor health for several months. Death was due to a complication of disease. She was 48 years of age. Mrs. Bridges was a daughter of Mrs. Jane Harris of Roachdale. She is survived by her husband, a wealthy farmer, and one daughter, Mrs. Chasie Myers of Ladoga. Mrs. Bridges was a sister of Mrs. (Dr) Batman of Ladoga. She was well known and distantly related to families in Crawfordsville. - kbz
